Oakdene
Oakdene
Oakdene is a family-owned vineyard situated in the heart of the Bellarine Peninsula on stunning coastal farmland, where the maritime climate offers excellent conditions for producing low yields of high-quality fruit. Only twenty minutes east of Geelong, the venue features a cellar door, bistro, wine bar, accommodation and gardens.
A visit to the Oakdene ‘Upside Down House’ Cellar Door is a unique and wondrous journey. The fantastical overturned building that houses the cellar door is a great place to start your wine tasting voyage on the Bellarine Peninsula.
Enjoy a seated tasting experience inside the cellar door for only $10 per person and create your own selection of 5 premium wine samples from the award winning Oakdene range. With up to 45 minutes for your tasting, you have time to relax, learn about the wines and hear a little bit of history about the property.
The cellar door is driven by a passionate, small team, who over the years, have developed an intimate understanding of the region, a deep knowledge of Oakdene wines and love to chat to guests about the range. (They will also help you decide which wines to take home with you!).
The Cellar Door is open 7 days from 10am – 4pm. Bookings are recommended.
Oakdene boasts two separate dining options, from a family friendly bistro offering steak, burgers, pizzas & salads to a retro wine bar specialising in Asian and Southeast Asian Tapas plates designed to share.
All nestled among stunning gardens filled with sculptures and artworks to explore. The team looks forward to seeing you at the Oakdene Cellar Door!
