Shadowfax winery is situated in great wine country just 30 kilometres from Melbourne at Werribee Park in Victoria.
Producing no more than 10,000 cases of super premium wines each year, Shadowfax’s wines have a strong focus on regionality with the majority of its fruit produced from its vineyards in Werribee and the Macedon Ranges and other small growers in Geelong.
Headed by winemaker Alister Timms, Shadowfax’s small and innovative winemaking team ensure only the highest quality grapes make it into each and every bottle.
All of Shadowfax’s wines are made onsite at their winery in Victoria, including these special wines, which are left undisturbed in the specially built underground barrel hall to quietly mature and evolve.
Open every day, Shadowfax offers visitors the opportunity to taste the wines, purchase from the cellar door, enjoy a delicious lunch at the restaurant or take a stroll through the picturesque surrounds.
For the restaurant menu, Shadowfax’s resident chef uses on the finest and freshest ingredients including vegetables and herbs from Shadowfax’s own kitchen garden.
The cellar door’s remarkable interior sets the scene for stylish yet relaxed private events and weddings. Whether it’s a dinner for 20 guests or stand up drinks for 100, Shadowfax is the ideal setting for occasions with a difference.
