Fenwick WinesFenwick is a small historic region on the Bellarine Peninsula, between Ocean Grove and Wallington, 20 km from Geelong and only 5 km from Bass Strait. Named after a pioneer settler called Fairfax Fenwick it is serendipitous only that, in 1988, Madeleine and David Fenwick purchased the 20 hectares that is now Fenwick Wines. The influence of a maritime climate on our vinyard is paramount for growing premium wine grape varieties such as pinot noir, chardonnay and, more recently, shiraz. Our Pinot Noir has an upfront palate of plum, raspberry and cherry fruits with beetroot and earthy flavours. While our Chardonnay has a beautiful oak integration with a slight creamy edge. In 2007 we released our shiraz, which is rich and full with dark fruits, spice, pepper and chocolate notes dominating the palate, perfect for the cooler months. As Fenwick Wines is a small private vinyard, we do not operate a cellar door. However we welcome visitors for wine tasting by appointment. If you would like to visit us we ask you call 03 52501943 to ensure we are home.
